If a player between the ages of 12-14 plays from the longer set of tees, the round counts, but if a player between the ages of 15-18 plays from the shorter set of tees, the round will be disqualified. If any player playing from the wrong tees wishes to re-play their round, they are allowed to do so. Contact Underrated Golf directly to get that arranged.
Am I allowed to play a practice round?
Yes, you are welcome to play a practice round. If you don’t have your own simulator, all you have to do is book a bay in your nearest Trackman-powered indoor facility to practice and play. You can find all needed information about the course and course setup (tees, pin position difficulty, wind conditions, firmness of greens, etc.).
How do I know which age group I belong to?
Your age group is based on your age on the day you play your tournament round. For example, if you turn 15 before your round, you will compete in the 15-18 age group. If you are still 14 on the day you play, you will compete in the 12-14 age group.
Format
The Underrated Golf Virtual Championship consists of two tournaments, each open to players from either Europe or the United States. For each tournament there will be a boys division and a girls division.
The tournament format is stroke play, played over 18 holes on Liberty National GC (United States) and Foxhills - Longcross (Europe) in a Trackman simulator. Entrants get one attempt to complete their round using as few strokes as possible without any handicap influence.
Timing
Registration for the tournaments opens on August 20, 2026 00:00 am (CET) and closes on October 31, 2026 11:59 (CET). The tournaments start on October 1, 2026 00:00 am (CET) and end on November 1, 2026 11:59 pm (CET). Entrants should be aware of the start/end dates and time of the tournament to make sure they have enough time to complete their attempts before the tournament ends.
Eligibility
Anyone from Europe or the United States between the ages of 12-18 years old during the participation period is eligible to participate in the tournament.
Due to European personal data protection rules and regulations, parents of players under 13 are required to set up a Trackman account for their child using the Trackman Golf App.
By participating in the Underrated Golf Virtual Championship presented by Underrated Golf and Trackman, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and confirm that they meet the eligibility criteria.
Trackman and Underrated Golf employees are not eligible to play in the tournament.
